"Collaboration as a Site of Personal and Institutional Transformation: Thoughts from Inside a Cross-National Alliance"

  • Local community-based work focusing on Family Counseling training and services for families displaced/impacted by immigration: La Puerta Abierta / The Open Door (see link)
  • Youth Mentorship Initiative of the Delaware Valley: reaching out to high-school-age immigrant youth
  • Conducting annual intensive collaborative seminars (through our partner program in Ecuador) for practitioners directly involved with families addressing addiction, family violence, trauma, mental illness and other persistent issues affecting families;
  • Ongoing distribution of clinical resources (in Spanish) to support family therapy work (through our partner program based in Quito,Ecuador:  “El Centro Integral de la Familia”);
  • Ongoing and growing network of professionals in the U.S. who make  themselves available on an ongoing, pro bono basis, as mentors, resources and collaborators to promote family wellness
